Seminar on Hydropower Cooperation in Georgia

Last updated: 15/11/2011 // In connection with the Norwegian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Jonas Gahr Støre’s visit to Tbilisi, a Norwegian business delegation visited Georgia on November 9-11.

The main event was the seminar ”Georgian – Norwegian Cooperation on Hydropower” on November 10, jointly organized by The Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources of Georgia, The Royal Norwegian Embassy in Baku, and INTPOW. The opening speeches were held by Mr. Støre and First Deputy Minister of Energy and Natural Resources of Georgia, Mrs. Mariam Valishvili. There were nearly 50 participants from Norwegian and Georgian businesses and relevant government bodies.

The aim of the seminar was to establish closer business relations between the two countries and to learn more about the potential for cooperation.
